Epic Kit
Check out this BEAUTIFUL Pearl Reference drum set in Twilight Fade finish! The reference kit is premium on all levels. It combines different types of wood for different size shells to supplement the highs from a smaller drum and the lows from a bigger drum. The 8" tom is all birch. The 10" is maple and birch. The 12" is all maple. The 14" is a little maple mostly mahogany. The kick and 16" are all mahogany.
I've played and known people who played premium kits from all sorts of companies and as soon they kit they're shocked how great they sound. In my opinion there is no better drum set. This just makes perfect sense they way they made it. Well done Pearl!
It's very hard to find too! If you ever plan on upgrading this kit, now is the time to get them because you will likely never find the a reference drum in this fish thats the size you're looking for. I'm not trying to sell you, I've trying to give you a heads up so you don't regret not getting it now. For real! I got your back.
All of these drums have been kept indoors, in temperate rooms (not a garage) for their entire life. I may have moved them a total 5 times. (To a friend's house, a gig and moving to two different house.) They are in fantastic condition and you're welcome to come look them over and play them! Come have some fun!
I have another kick drum in the same finish available. However I bought it with a small crack inside the shell. It has no problems and sounds PERFECT, but I'm selling it separate for that reason.
I have a matching 13x7 snare that ROCKS and guess what? You get it for quite a deal too, because one of the lugs snapped. (pictured) It actually still sounds REALLY good, but the part is difficult to find. You may need to use a lug from the Music City series, but that's not a big deal.
I have a sweet red 20" Pearl Session Studio Kick drum with one head that I use as a gong drum. It may not as nice a drum as the Reference but it sounds great with it and at a better price!
Wow ok! I have two Pearl Masters drums in Piano black that I've used as add-ons to this kit. Theres a 13" tom and an 18" Floor tom, both sound HUGE! Not quite like the Reference but much more affordable. they pair very well together.
13" Master Tom - $250

I certainly won't need it anymore so I'll give you a really goo dal on that so you can start playing this dream kit!
