This poster is part of a series I made for my job at Downtown Bentonville Inc. Winter Wonderland  is a culmination of the Bentonville Lighting of the Square, Christmas Parade and some other winter events each year. This is the design for 2018. When I started I knew I wanted it to fit with our style for that year, which meant clean and simple with no distractions from what's important.

This event is way more amazing than you first think. It's chilly, packed and magical. The best way to convey what this event is like was with that image. Even so, the magnitude of it can only be experienced in person.

I hate stuffy, crowded places, but this one is different.

No body tries to sell you anything - in fact they give you free coffee. That changes everything, but then add a crowd, a countdown, Christmas music and lights. It's seriously a magical night. Be sure to check it out next November. Check out the video I made for it below.

You always want your poster to stand out on a bulletin board, so by sticking with the clean, white and a nice image you can achieve that - especially amongst the busyness of Christmas design.
